The following position is currently available at IG Group.

Head of Sales (Scandinavia) & Head of Sales (Netherlands)

IG has ambitious plans to expand its CFD and FX business in Scandinavia and Holland and is looking for a Heads of Sales for each country, who will be responsible for leading the local sales effort and will be heavily involved in local marketing. The business will be focused on sales and account opening. The aim will be to recruit:

• retail clients directly via marketing in local print and online media;
• retail clients indirectly via introducing broker and ‘white label’ arrangements with local stock brokers, futures brokers, asset managers and banks;
• corporate and institutional clients via personal contacts

The right candidates are likely to be based in London, but IG would also consider opening an office in Stockholm and/or the Netherlands if there was sufficient demand. If the business is based in Sweden and/or the Netherlands, then the candidates will need to spend some time working at IG’s London head office first, familiarising themselves with the company and its processes.

The ideal candidates will have a proven background in financial sales and experience of the Scandinavian, Swedish or Dutch market.
