The Financial Information Exchange (FIX) solution enables you to offer the IG Markets product range to your clients through your own platform. Orders are passed to us and are dealt with just as a direct order would be.
This proposition represents the greatest level of independence for your brand, with products supplied by IG Markets appearing alongside your own products on your platform. There is no reason for the client to become aware that they are dealing with prices supplied by a third party or that IG Markets is your hedging counterparty.
The FIX Protocol is a messaging standard developed specifically for the real-time electronic exchange of securities transactions. FIX is a well established industry standard which means that it offers good performance, with well-tested, advanced solutions.
Features include:
- Seamless integration: The client never leaves your website and platform and is unaware that their deals are being routed to IG Markets
- Industry standard: FIX is a well understood and mature technology that will be familiar to your in-house development team
- Developed APIs: IG Markets' Application Programming Iinterfaces (APIs) are already developed, so implementation time is reduced
- Extensive product range: A wide range of our OTC and DMA products can be offered (currently excluding Binaries and Bungees)
This package is only suitable for partners with a fully-developed trading platform through which they can offer IG Markets products. You will also need developers with knowledge of FIX version 5.0 in order to implement the API.
